Is it expensive to stretch a canvas?
No, it is not expensive to stretch a canvas, when compared to framing. If you're looking for a more economical way to display your artwork, canvas stretching is definitely the way to go. You can also have your artwork stretched and then framed at a later time, even years down the road.

Doesn't a canvas have to be kept under glass?
No. Artwork on canvas does not need to be kept under glass.

Won't the artwork fade or degrade if it isn't protected?
Photographs that have been printed on canvas can be sprayed with a UV protectant finish in order to prevent fading. Paintings, however, do not need this type of protection. UV protection for photographs are available for an additional cost.

Do you offer different depths for stretching?
We do. Our stretcher bars range in depth from 5/8" to 2".
